The shop is clean, the tooling is organized, and we are ready to begin.
Everything at Parallel Works LLC is officially green-lit. Now, we’re just waiting for the most important guest to arrive: Our first CNC Milling machine.
While we wait for the delivery truck, we haven’t been sitting idle. We’ve spent the last few weeks:
- Inspection Equipment: Just took delivery of our go/no thread gauges, height gauge, pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, and gauge blocks.
- Onboarding with Xometry is close to completion: Setting up our partner profile to ensure we can hit the ground running with live jobs on Day 1. Just need a complete call or possibly a test piece to finish it all up.
- Optimizing the Workflow: Getting our CAD/CAM Fusion 360 environment dialed in so the transition from digital to physical is seamless.
- Building the Foundation: Learning the nuances of finding the right work and ensuring our quality standards are ready for the first spindle turn.
There’s a unique kind of energy in a shop that’s "ready but quiet." We’re using this time to make sure that when that machine finally touches the floor, we aren't just starting—we're accelerating.
